Frederator Networks Paves Way For Bravest Warriors Revival + Spin-Off With Toho Deal
Toho has made a multi-million dollar agreement with Frederator Networks to co-produce and develop the aforementioned studios’ best-known original IP’s, Bee and PuppyCat which just wrapped last year on Netflix, as well as Bravest Warriors and the eventual spin-off Catbug.
The deal leads to speculation that the Bravest Warriors IP could be coming back sooner rather than later but the deal means new content and products can be developed with Toho’s backing in Japan and Frederator’s international efforts expanding everywhere else.
Frederator’s Bee and PuppyCat: Lazy In Space premiered in September 2022 for Netflix, a re-imagining of the series that was originally made available on VRV, plus a number of new episodes. We had a chance to talk to show creator Natasha Allegri and you can read our season review here.
"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
