English Dub Review: To Your Eternity “Expanding Consciousness”
Overview
As warned by Kahaku’s arm, the Nokkers attack the head church of the Church of Bennett, causing terrible devastation.
Our Take
This time around, the Knokkers consequently attack the Church of Bennett, as massive as it is, no one is immune to their wrath. And as best as Fushi tried to outwit it, the message from the Knokkers that the battle is at a standstill with Fushi being weakened with some of his vessels being taken away, and this “game” of theirs will not subside until the deed is done. With having to outwit the Knokkers in the mud swamp, a horse suddenly comes to his aid, it was the Beholder’s backup prep.
Certainly, having to figure out the Knokkers’ attack pattern, the Beholder teaching him his spatial awareness for assistance, at least it’s progress for Fushi to learn how to extract and defeat future Knokkers. On the subject, the Knokkers’ are out for blood, and whatever their demands/requests that they possibly have, it’s certain that the next destination of the city of Renril and Kahaku’s life are in danger, potentially losing more innocent lives by the count…
While I’m glad that a new arc begins, what is it trying to achieve? Nokkers are appearing all over the place and are stronger than before, ravaging a city in almost no time. In the process, they took away some of Fushi’s vessels. Bottom line is, Fushi apparently needs to get stronger, by exploring more of his untapped power. There were numerous contrivances to be seen for sure, especially a twist involving a horse… I don’t know what the story is really trying to accomplish, but I hope there’s an actual payoff to all of it.
"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
