Our Take:

This episode was crazy with a lot of the references they made. There was even a character that I am pretty sure was supposed to be a parody of Trump. He mentioned many things about building a wall and making places great again so at the very least I think it was a reference. But it wasn’t just a former president who got a tongue-in-cheek reference.

Chen Chao was being seduced by an internet personality which I am sure many people have had to deal with. But the interesting wrinkle here is that this internet star is an actual demon who is trying to steal viewers’ energy. When their “beauty filter” comes off they look like a fat creepy guy which I am guessing is a commentary on the dark side of that industry. As per usual it was a hilarious episode that leaves me wanting more.
