IDW Comics Developing Relic of the Dragon As Adult Animated Series
Our sister publication Bubbleblabber Espanol reported on IDW’s upcoming adult animated series adaptation with studio Anima for Brutal Nature and now it looks like American audiences will also have a chance to get it’s taste of IDW’s more gruesome originals in the form of some sort of adaptation of Relic of the Dragon.
Bryan Q. Miller (Shadowhunters, He-Man and the Masters of the Universe) joins as showrunner for the series based on the graphic novel by Adrian Benatar and Miguel Ángel García. The fantasy action-adventure follows the journey of Uric, an ordinary man hunting for a relic of enormous power.
The most dangerous undertaking of his life, the choices Uric makes along the way will change his life forever – along with the fate of his entire nation. Daniel Kendrick will head up development on behalf of IDW.
Bryan Q. Miller is represented in the deal by Verve Los Angeles.

"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
