English Dub Review: Bluelock “The Formula for Goals”
Overview:
Team Z managed to hold onto a sliver of hope for surviving the first selection. But the sticky situation never ends, with them forced to play 10-on-11 against the strongest team in the group due to Kuon’s betrayal. Even a draw would make them disqualified, so winning is the only option for them. Under such a circumstance, Isagi goes to meet with a certain someone to attain the secret of the formula for goals, so that the team can win, and he can be a scorer himself.
Our Take:
Winning is the only option and they’re going up against the strongest team in their bracket. The real-life Team Japan finally lost and I hope that isn’t the fate of our Bluelock boys. I don’t think it will be cause we have a few episodes left but anything could happen. I am loving this journey Isagi is on but with the way they are building up their opponents I kind of like them too and wonder what could happen if they “team up” in the next round of Bluelock.
Isagi and Bachira have to have one of the best bromances in anime this season. Bachira made me realize one of the saddest things if they do lose in Bluelock. If they lose then these two won’t be able to play together any longer and what I thought was cool was how they both want to continue to play together. Sure it’s a competition and only one can win but they still enjoy playing together. I think there is something really cool about that and once again looking forward to next week to see how they pull off the victory. They have to win right?
"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
