English Dub Review: The Great Jahy Will Not Be Defeated! “The Dark Lord Doesn’t Hold Back!”

Overview:

For some inexplicable reason, Jahy-sama ends up having to introduce Kyouko to Druj.
While she is thrilled to hear about the revival of the Demon Lord, Druj cannot stand that Kyouko is sitting next to Jahy-sama. She is supposed to be underling Number 1!
Kyouko on the other hand maintains that she is Jahy-sama’s friend, which only fans Druj’s flames. Things escalate.
Meanwhile, the Demon Lord was repeating the cycle of eating and sleeping at Kyouko’s house.

Our Take:

I think this show is peaking at just the right time, and I don’t think Kyouko being involved more is just a coincidence to that. She has been the best character by far and I feel justified in saying we needed more of her because she brings the action we needed. Just know we’ve learned that it’s not quite in the way we thought she would.

Her being friends with Jahy was not something I saw coming but it is definitely the more fun option of what we could have gotten. But now I am wondering what is going on with the Dark Lord? She seems all lazy and innocent but why was she following Kyouko and Jahy like that? The biggest flaw to this show is no overall plot structure or problem but I think that might change soon with the Dark Lord acting all sus.
