English Dub Review: The Great Jahy Will Not Be Defeated! “Saurva Will Not Lose!”

Overview:

Saurva is granted powers by a mysterious white light. Now it is time to get Jahy back everything!
However, the powers are a complete mystery and Saurva can’t control them properly.
Later, Jahy-sama was wondering why Kokoro was ignoring her when she calls out to her.
The Landlord suggests that Kokoro dislikes her now, which puts Jahy-sama’s heart into a downward spiral of doubt.
What is Kokoro’s real reason?

Our Take:

What happens when an immovable force meets an unstoppable object? If Jahy cannot be defeated and Saurva will not lose then something has to give. Turns out that what happens is… nothing. At least in this case because Saurva doesn’t know how to use her new powers and when you have a sword that’s made of light it just passes through what you’re trying to hit. Which doesn’t really help you in a battle.

The saddest/best part of the episode was when Jahy was worried about why Kokoro was avoiding her. Jahy was so worried and it was cute because she has never really had a friend before and she was panicked. Luckily for her Kokoro was just avoiding her because she had a sore tooth and couldn’t talk and didn’t want to pass it on to Jahy. How adorable is that? This spirit wandering around handing out powers bears a striking resemblance to the Dark Lord but no one else has seemingly figured it out.
