English Dub Review: Is It Wrong To Try To Pick Up Girls In A Dungeon? “Mirabilis| Chaos”

Overview:

Ryu couldn’t be the killer… right? Bell wants to help his friend, but as the body count grows higher, he must ask himself how well he truly knows her.

Our Take:

Bell does everything he can to try to get to Ryu before the others do but it might be too little too late. I know I kind of touched on this last week but I still feel that there is more to this than meets the eye. Some of these people helped massacre her familia and she is seemingly keeping anyone else alive. How will she and Bell’s face-off go?

Normally this anime does fight scenes better than most but this episode had some pretty bad ones. I know they were trying to make Ryu look cool by having her do the typical anime swordsman stuff. The only problem was the execution was really subpar. It was essentially a bunch of one-scene cuts and just aren’t up to the standards I’ve come to expect from this show. Every anime that runs as long as this one has is bound to have a couple of bad episodes. I think this is just one of those and we will get back to the quality we expect from this next time.
