English Dub Review: Is It Wrong To Try To Pick Up Girls In A Dungeon? “Cassandra Ilion| Dream Seer”

Overview:

Ryu, the Gale Wind, stands accused of murder. Bell and his party need answers, but only Cassandra knows that tragedy will befall them if they pursue their friend.

Our Take:

I know how much I have gone on about Ais Wallenstein and her presence making or breaking this anime. A very close second to me is Ryu, I love her and she is probably the only other person I would be okay with Bell being with. Having said that, I feel fairly confident she isn’t capable of just murdering people so I hope that gets worked out. If there is one thing we know about Bell is that he will go to battle for his friends no matter how poor the odds.

Cassandra and her visions are interesting because we never know how these visions go. Most often the person does everything in their power to make sure these visions don’t happen which in turn makes them happen. I kind of like the bittersweet inevitability of it but something tells me that if anyone can change “fate” its Bell Cranel.
