English Dub Review: Cardfight!! Vanguard will+Dress “Proof of Legend”

Overview:

It’s Megumi’s time to shine! Will she come out on top?

Our Take:

I know in the last episode I praised this voice cast for doing their best and who knows maybe that went to their heads because this episode had some baaaadddd performances. I am sure they will get better but this time it just didn’t work out. Only a couple of performances were not cringe-inducing this time.

I suppose for every good character we like that wins there has to be one that loses every once in a while right? I felt for Megumi because she didn’t want to be consoled or anything. Sometimes when we lose we just want to wallow and be sad ya know? But of course, there is that one dude who is enjoying all the drama and other people’s sadness, and something tells me there is something more to this tournament than it seems.
