English Dub Review: The Great Jahy Will Not Be Defeated! “The Magical Girl Will Not Fight”

Overview:

The final battle with the Magical Girl is approaching.
No matter how strong the opponent may be, there is no way that Jahy-sama would ever back down as she swore to restore the Dark Realm.
The same holds true for the Magical Girl… or does it?
Once face to face, talking reveals an unexpected sentiment behind the Magical Girl aka Shinguu Kyouko.

Our Take:

As you all probably know I love when Magical Girl shows up and this episode was no different. Now, this definitely went in a way I was not expecting but, to be honest, I really like the change. Jahy came to find out that Magical Girl’s motivations were a lot more understandable than she previously thought and now it seems that their objectives align.

What makes things even more interesting is that the Demon Lord herself seems to be staying in Magical Girl’s house. I was waiting for the Demon Lord to speak to try and nail down her VA but that might have to wait a bit. But I will say it seems like things are looking up for Jahy however, now that the Magical Girl problem seems more or less wrapped up how will they create more conflict moving forward?
