English Dub Review: Lucifer and the Biscuit Hammer “The Spirit, Anima, and the Beast Knights”
Overview
The Spirit, Anima, appears and gathers the Beast Knights together to transform Dance Dark into the Mythic Beast Knight, Unicorn, leaving the knights to face a new golem without Samidare once more.
Our Take
This time around we get our first real look at the evil god-like being Anima. And later we get back-to-back instances of the powerhouse Samidare being absent from battling the newest golem. She was away trying to fight Animus last time now too tired this time. Which is one part disappointing not seeing Samidare wreck the golem but also it lets the beast Knights shine and get more experience fighting.
Anima as a villain design-wise has an interesting headpiece But I do find it funny seeing her summon everyone randomly through those portals. Grabbing them from whatever it is they were doing, from cooking to swimming to cosplaying, and changing the horse into a unicorn, and then dismissing them without so much as an explanation?
This was a rush job of an episode and not in a good way. The monster CGI was awful and looked so out-of-place, especially toward the end of the episode. It’s clear that Anima has zero chill and a bottomless stomach. The witch lady somehow seems connected to Samidare, enough connected to make Samidare tired whenever Anima uses too much power. With one more episode left, How could they possibly end this?
"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
