English Dub Review: Lucifer and the Biscuit Hammer “The Hero, Kusakabe Tarou”
Overview
Tarou has always been worried about Hanako after her wish made her more likely to die, and when the Beast Knights struggle against the ninth golem, he rises up to protect her.
Our Take
After an almost 2-week break from Crunchyroll, we’re back with newly dubbed episodes and a new intro starting at episode 13 with the focus shifting to the Mouse Knight Tarou. As a character, Tarou may not have had a lot of personality, but if nothing else, the back-and-forth between Tarou and the Mouse was pretty amusing.
Samidare was there to help this time but they couldn’t defeat this new golem that itself looked like a knight on horseback, and the Knight’s main offensive fights to be away with the golem splitting them up really hurt their chances to win the battle clean after a tragic event that happens much later on.
Overall, things definitely look like they have improved in terms of art and animation, though there is still a lot of room for improvement as the pacing of this episode did leave much to be desired. But if they can maintain this quality, it gives me hope for later episodes. Anima offers the power of invincibility between 3 characters, however not all are free, so they have to fight their way to earn it which leaves me hooked enough to see what happens next!
"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
