English Dub Review: Classroom of the Elite “Force without wisdom falls of its own weight.”

Overview:

Ayanokoji makes his final decision on how to deal with Ryuen and the Class C threat.

Our Take:

This was such an amazing episode, I was wondering how Ayanokoji would save Karuizawa. But for some reason in my head, I never thought a direct confrontation was ever an option. I fell for the same trap Ryuen did. I was under the impression that Ayanokoji didn’t want to be found out and wanted to operate in the shadows. Turns out he didn’t give a shit and can mop the floor with just about anyone so far. Getting to see Ayanokoji wreck some kids was something I didn’t know that I wanted. Sure it shows that he’s beyond OP because he’s not just a smart guy but gifted athletically too but hey I’ll go with it. I just wonder if this guy will ever show any emotion ever.

The only thing that held this episode back from perfection was the animation. It wasn’t bad per se but the fighting just looked so wonky that it took me out of it a few times. It just looked static and the characters looked stiff. Especially the way the girl fought, but most of the fights were over so fast it was hard to tell but the fight with Ryuen went on a while and it was pretty noticeable there. We have one more episode left and then it’s on to waiting for season three. If this one ends how I think it will it will be a tough wait for sure.
