English Dub Review: Shadows House “The Last Lessons”

Overview:

Kate and the others have deduced the identity of Master Robe, the culprit behind the phantom mayhem, who then tells them of the cruel secret of Shadows House.

Our Take(Spoilers):

Well, I am going to give a spoiler alert here, though I did warn you all that I would be going in-depth this week. You’ve had a week to catch up so this is your final warning.

So Mary Rose is Master Robe, but why has she done what she has? In short, she has learned of the revelations that we only learned about at the end of last season. Which is that the shadows and living dolls eventually merge and become one. Not only that, but we did also learn that the living doll’s spirit is no more. So it’s less a symbiotic relationship and more parasitic I suppose. This makes things even darker while also answering some lingering questions.

We got to see what has been going on with some of the adults in charge and what their plans are. Edward was seen after a while, he seems to be just fine even after all his machinations failed. But the most disturbing image we were left with was what happens when the merging of a shadow and a living doll fails. Spoiler alert… it’s not pretty. Loving this season of Shadows House.
