English Dub Review: Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon? “Reminisce”

Our Take:

I am going to probably sum this one up in one paragraph. This is actually one of my favorite anime, but it’s hard to recommend to people because of the title. Like a lot of anime titles, it betrays what the show is really about. Sure there are harem elements but Bell Cranel is far from a playboy. What I am getting at is that if you haven’t seen this anime yet don’t just watch this recap and call it good. You’re missing out on a really great show with fun memorable characters. If you have seen the anime before then this won’t do you any good. There’s a tiny preview for the new season but that’s about it. Speaking of, sure it was just a snippet but I didn’t see Ais Wallenstein once! For being the main reason Bell has gotten to where he is she sure has been missing from a lot of the series lately… But I digress… I was really disappointed when HiDive announced we were getting the dub this week and this is what we got, couldn’t even include the first episode as well? Just don’t watch this. If I could give it a zero I would.
