Review: Mike Judge’s Beavis and Butt-Head “Nice Butt-Head/Home Aide”
Overview
Nice Butt-Head
Butt-Head is given medication for his aggression towards Beavis and becomes a little too nice. It doesn’t take long for Butt-Head to be quite a bit more tempered which is the opposite effect when Beavis gets his hands on drugs. Butt-Head makes all sorts of changes, he becomes a better friend, a model student, and way more health conscious about his diet. To fix him, Beavis beats the shit out of Butt-Head and rescues him from the tyranny of prescription meds.

We get a visit from multiverse Beavis and Butt-Head who introduce us to the middle-aged Beavis and Butt-Heads. Middle-aged Beavis and Butt-Head run out of beer money, so Beavis has to find a job…being a caretaker for Butt-Head.

Our Take
It took a bit, but Beavis and Butt-Head has finally rewarded with the long-teased older takes on the character. Thanks to a little intro from the multiverse variety of Beavis and Butt-Head (see Beavis and Butt-Head: Do The Universe for a more proper intro), we can only wonder what other alterations of the titular characters could potentially await us. Maybe Beavis and Butt-Head in different animation styles? Different actors? Live-action? The possibilities are endless for a franchise that has been around for 25 years.
This week’s cutaways weren’t much to gawk over, but at least the second run of the gags featured the older depictions of the characters getting their two cents in. Personally, I would’ve liked to have seen both episodes attempt a different take on the guys, but seeing Butt-Head on drugs was a bunch of laughs in its own right.
"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
