English Dub Review: Classroom of the Elite “Adversity is the first path to truth.”

Overview:

As the sports festival comes down to the wire, Horikita must deal with Sudo and Ryuen’s threat.

Our Take:

From watching the first season of this show and six episodes of this season I have learned a couple of things. The most important of which is that you should never declare war on Ayanokoji. He confronted Kushida about her being the traitor and she said she would do everything she could to get him expelled. What is scary about that is I don’t think that Ayanokoji has shown us even one percent of his true potential.

When it comes to his true potential I think we got a little sneak preview of it with the post-credits scene. Horikita was getting outplayed again but then Ryuen got a surprise email. His entire plan was recorded and sent to him so someone out there was a step ahead of them. Any guess who that was? I guarantee you it’s Ayanokoji. I am so glad this anime got a second season because I am pretty sure there are few protagonists that are as smart and ruthless as Ayanokoji. I personally can’t wait to see what he does next.
