Koala Man: Hulu Releases Key Art And Announces Hugh Jackman To The Cast
Hulu is teasing some Koala Man news ahead of the show’s San Diego Comic-Con 2022 panel. The upcoming series has tapped Hugh Jackman as “Big Greg” who is a former TV show host and is now the head of the town council to go along with show co-creator (along with Justin Roiland) Michael Cusack’s starring role as Koala Man.
A few years ago we covered Michael Cusack’s original series Koala Man when it premiered in Australia with a number of shorts. Hugh Jackman, also an Australian, is clearly heading up with the home team.
Michael Cusack’s Koala Man has been ordered for eight episodes for Hulu. The series follows a wannabe superhero dad who tries his best to fight crime and bring order to his neighborhood. Pokémon Detective Pikachu co-writers Dan Hernandez and Benji Samit are going to be the showrunners, and also writing/producing with Cusack. Justin Roiland is producing and animation will be done by a collaboration of 20th Century Animation and the new Bento/Princess Pictures joint studio effort that was announced last week.

"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
