WB Discovery News: American Dad, RTX, And More
RTX Austin, Texas’ largest celebration of gaming, podcasting and animation, is thrilled to announce highlights from its program of panels, screenings, special guests, evening events, and convention floor activations. RTX is returning to Austin July 1-3 this summer after a two-year hiatus due to COVID-19. RTX will take over downtown Austin with programming at the Austin Convention Center and the Hilton hotel, and special events at the Paramount, Stateside, and Bluestarlite theaters and the historic Scoot Inn. Weekend badges are available at RTXEvent.com.
The RTX Animation Festival will feature premieres, screenings, panels and special guests from popular adult animated series, including Adult Swim’s Primal, HBO Max’s Ten Year Old Tom, and Rooster Teeth’s RWBY Volume 9, RWBY: Ice Queendom, Minnow Mountain, Newscape Studios, and Neebs Gaming.

Rick and Morty spin-off The Vindicators is expected to drop Summer 2022 with 10 episodes on the way that will be released across Adult Swim’s social media channels. The series is a spin-off from the Rick and Morty episode Vindicators 3: The Return of Worldender.
The series will centre on the characters Supernova, Vance Maxiumus, Alan Rails, Crocubot and Noob Noob, loosely adapting the events of “Origin of the Vindicators” (Vindicators 1) and Vindicators 2.
We’ve been sent multiple reports about new episodes of American Dad returning July 11th according to the EIDR records. We’ve reached out to our sources concerning this and from what we’re hearing is that the show appears to be holding firm the September 12th premiere date. The show has also been renewed for seasons 20 and 21, however, that was before AT&T sold WarnerMedia sold the company to WB Discovery. WB Discovery head David Zaslav has since said saying that he wants to stop scripted development on both TNT and TBS
Synopsis:
This screwball family full of radically different personalities is just trying to figure out how to love and trust one another in a bi-partisan world.
"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
