This Week In Obituaries: Billy Kametz Dies At Age 35 From Stage Four Colon Cancer

The voice acting world, especially in anime, has lost a true soldier far too young. Billy Kametz, best known for voicing Josuke Higashikata in JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Diamond is Unbreakable, Naofumi Iwatani in The Rising of the Shield Hero, and Takuto Maruki in Persona 5 Royal has passed away at the age of 35 after a short bout with stage four colon cancer.

Billy had only announced his diagnosis back in April when he launched a GoFundMe which had surpassed it’s goal of $150,000.
