English Dub Review: Science Fell in Love, So I Tried to Prove It r=1-sinθ “Science-types Fell in Love, So They Tried Not Trying to Prove It.”
Overview:
As usual, Yukimura is working hard on his computer when Himuro suddenly says, “I am in love with you. Her confession greatly shakes Yukimura. Unlike the last time, Himuro states her feelings matter-of-factly. Yukimura asks, “What theory did you use to determine that you love me?” Himuro replies by taking Yukimura out on a date and begins performing experiments they’ve done before such as measuring heart rates, using an emotion counter, collecting saliva, and the kiss experiment.
Our Take:
This episode had a lot of payoffs if you’ve been watching since the first one. While Himuro is reasonably certain of how she feels about Yukimura, he hasn’t quite decided yet. It being Yukimura he decides to attack it from a scientific standpoint. Giving all the things he likes about her a positive value and the things he dislikes a negative value. If the total is above 0 then he must love Himuro. My favorite part of this whole scene was the fact that they played the ending song from season one here. If you never got the chance to listen it’s called “Turning Love (feat. Sou)” by Nanawoakari and let me tell you it’s catchy.
You would think this might be the end of the anime but luckily for us, it isn’t. They both enjoy the research part of it and want to see how deep their love goes. Plus we got some other couples we need to see paired up.
"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
