English Dub Review: Science Fell in Love, So I Tried to Prove It r=1-sinθ “Science-types Fell in Love, So They Tried Going on a Group Date”

Overview:

After worrying long and hard over what to do about Shikijou’s invitation to go hang out together, Kanade decides to try going on the date with him. When Himuro hears about it she leans forward excitedly to congratulate Kanade on finding someone she might fall in love with. Himuro is also eager to observe and analyze Kanade’s date from afar in order to put it to good use in her own research. As she’s thinking about this, Yukimura arrives and proclaims that he has devised a new standard unit for the measurement of favorable feeling, the Kanade love power. Then, Kanade’s date becomes a double date!

Our Take:

Typical science types even turn a group date into an experiment. You had most of the crew join but there was one disappointment to me. Kosuke just showed up with his doll! Why couldn’t he have brought Ibarada! Other than that it was cool to see a different couple from the campus. The girl was a classic tsundere and I hope we get to see more of them.

Of course, Kanade ran into her former teacher while out on her date. It got her all flustered and I didn’t like the look in his eyes. Afterward, the look in her eyes was a little bit lifeless. I kind of feel bad for the guy she was on the date with. I don’t think we are done with Kanade and her issues so I am looking forward to finding out more.
