ADULT SWIM SETS DIGITAL PREMIERE OF NEW ANIMATED SERIES INDOLENT ALLEN FROM CREATOR CLIFF BENFIELD

A new short form animated series from Adult Swim Smalls launches June 23rd. Indolent Allen follows Allen, a lazy college student who brings out the worst in every social circle he nudges into. Indolent Allen is created by Cliff Benfield. Cliff Benfield has created animated cartoons skyrocketing in popularity on TikTok (600k followers) & Instagram (72k) thanks to his absurd original characters and lightning quick dialogue. 

The Indolent Allen series is based on two proof of concept sketches posted to TikTok (Group Project & Zoom Classmate). 

The Adult Swim Smalls series premiers on Adult Swim’s YouTube channel on June 23rd at 8pm EST. Episodes 2 will be released on June 30, with episode 3 being released on July 7. All episodes will appear on HBO Max later this year. 

The titular character, Allen, is voiced by Daniel Padulo. All episodes are written by Cliff Benfield, Daniel Padulo, and Adam Gold. The series includes voice acting talent from NYC comedians including Savannah DesOrmeaux, Nadia Pinder, Derick Gonzalez, and Jared Schwartz. 

Adam Gold serves as executive producer.
