English Dub Review: Science Fell in Love, So I Tried to Prove It r=1-sin0 “Science-types Fell in Love, So They Tried Looking for a New Theory”
Overview:
Though Yukimura and Himuro went as far as to kiss for the experiment, they were soundly beaten by Chris and Suiu’s oxytocin levels in their saliva. Panicked, Yukimura suggests that they conduct control experiments. However, in the midst of the Yukimura/Suiu pairing, Suiu’s seductive manner ends up causing Yukimura to ogle her charms. Seeing that, Himuro runs another experiment with Yukimura but ends up sulking. The two end up having a lover’s quarrel. Yukimura’s behavior causes Chris to look down at him coldly and say, “As a man, you are a failure.”
Our Take:
My favorite part about this anime has to be how they take these experiments and make them sound so believable. I never thought love could be quantified or explained but they sure do a good job of it here. Yukimura is an excellent protagonist because he does not give up in the face of adversity and I think this might have been the first time he declared his love for Himuro. Chris may have knocked him down a peg but he got back at him in no time.
One of the more hilarious parts of this episode was that while all these important experiments were going you had Ikeda and Ibarada playing (not) Super Smash Bros. the whole time. Their whole dynamic is fantastic and I hope they become more involved in this season as it goes on. A solid episode and better than the first in my opinion.
"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
