English Dub Review: Science Fell in Love, So I Tried to Prove It r=1-sin0 “Science-types Fell in Love, So They Tried Comparing Couples”
Overview:
Following the events of their trip to Okinawa, Saitama University graduate students Shinya Yukimura and Ayame Himuro have failed to obtain the data necessary to scientifically prove their love for each other. Unable to replicate the exact conditions of the trip, the two stubborn scientists decide to seek help from elsewhere in the university—the Biological Sciences department.
Our Take:
Going to get a little bit of reality with this one first. This was the first show that I watched that formerly had Billy Kametz in it since his cancer announcement. Billy is going through a lot and we probably won’t hear him in anything for a while. I was really sad to hear about that but let’s make sure we throw a ton of support at any of the voice actors filling in for Billy at this time.
Speaking of that, Alejandro Saab is filling in on this one and takes over as Yukimura. He did an excellent job and made his voice sound like Billy’s. I actually thought that Billy might have fit this one in before he went on his leave. This season is in good hands and I feel less concerned after this one. It was surprising that Avrielle Corti reprised her role as Himuro because it seems she has been more into theater lately.
From a story perspective, I wonder where this is going to go. We got introduced to two new characters that could either be really fun or super annoying. Chris Floret and Suiu Fujiwara are already a couple and it actually seems like there might be some love competitions. We will see how things play out.
"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
