Review: The Proud Family: Louder And Prouder “Home School”

Overview
Penny inadvertently gets her homeless teacher fired after we learn that she’s been staying at the school. Granted, Ms Hill isn’t the nicest teacher we’ve ever seen, but it doesn’t excuse her being removed entirely. Eventually, Hill moves in with the Proud family which is wearing out it’s welcome due to the fact that the teacher is constantly putting everyone in detention.
Meanwhile, Uncle Bobby teams up with Zoe to help the teenager overcome her fear of being in the spotlight for the school’s marching band. At a big pep rally, Bobby both helps Zoe with her confidence, AND helps raise money for Ms. Hill so that she can move out of the Proud house and possibly forever after with Uncle Bobby?
Our Take
Another solid episode of The Proud Family: Louder and Prouder. This week’s episode focuses on the ridiculously low salaries that teachers make working in public schools and the show makes a fabulous point about what we consider important versus what is really important. The Zoe “B”-plot was a bit more cliche, but I enjoyed how it intertwined with the main story.
The Proud Family: Louder and Prouder is focusing on important issues in it’s first season from top to bottom. With big stars like Tiffany Haddish to get this point across, it’s a winning formula that is making this franchise one of the better animated comedies of the year.
"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
