English Dub Review: Sasaki and Miyano “Love”

Overview:

At the Hooligan Fortune Cafe, Miyano gets more wisdom from the Chairman. Miyano competes in the cross-dressing competition, and he and Sasaki see the festival together. Miyano makes a major breakthrough.

Our Take:

Damn you fireworks-kun! Interrupting confessions for so long now! I don’t necessarily think that that is what Miyano was about to do but still, I think he was going to say something important and now we’ll never know. But other than that I really liked this episode. The relationship between Sasaki and Miyano is taking some time to develop but it feels natural due to its nature. They’re not just deciding if they like someone but because of it, they have to question their sexuality as well. It’s all being handled really well in my opinion.

I think Miyano is finally coming to terms with the fact that he is probably in love with Sasaki. You don’t usually feel that type of way about someone without it being love in one way or another. So I really hope that we get to see this relationship blossom soon.
