English Dub Review: Saiyuuki Reload: Zeroin “Seiten Taisei”

Overview:

Goku’s life hangs in the balance, and the group resorts to drastic measures to save him.

Our Take:

One of the things I would like to talk about first is how Ian Sinclair absolutely killed it in this episode. The raw emotion and desperation in his voice were really powerful and reminded me how awesome he is. I haven’t been this impressed with a performance of his since he did Kureno in Fruits Basket.

Now I’m really sure I must have missed something in a past series of this. Goku and Hakkai at the very least seem to be demons as well. So that kind of explains their indifference to killing every single demon they come across but yeah I’m pretty lost. Sanzo went off on his own for some reason and Gojyo was really upset about it. I understand, if Sanzo had a good reason to leave then fine. I thought he was going to do something important but we just got a flashback of his and that was it. So yeah I would want to punch him too when two of my friends might have died and he wasn’t there to help.
