English Dub Review: Sabikui Bisco “I’m Bisco!”
Overview
As the revived Testujin creature advances, destroying everything in its path. If this goes on Japan will once again be swallowed up by Rust… After inheriting the spirit of Bisco, Milo resolutely takes a stand against Testujin. Jabi, Pawoo, and Tirol race to his aid and they manage to corner the rampaging Testujin, but just when all hope seems lost, a glowing red hand appears…
Our Take
With Kurokawa being sort of alive inside the Tetsujin, Milo evokes Bisco’s attitude and swagger to honor his dead friend in the face of such a towering foe and even goes as far as to rally everyone and to try and stop this Rust-spewing monstrosity. While Jabi, Tirol, and Pawoo are riding along with Pawoo’s city watch. But it won’t be an easy job as it had a hidden turbine in its body emitting Rust and firing that shit out of its mouth like a Kaiju Monster.
At one point the creature almost kills those kids Bisco and Milo previously ran into. And on the way to Imihama, not even the Watch could scratch Tetsujin, and neither will Milo with Bisco’s Mushroom bows to the point of frontal combat with a twist that sort of caught me off guard…
Overall, with one episode left and with one hell of a cliffhanger, I’m not sure how we’re supposed to be invested in this fight considering the Tetsujin doesn’t show any signs of being weakened/damaged throughout the last 2 episodes. But with the way the episode ended and given the episode’s title, It was both unexpected yet expected at the same time. But this show is already weird enough with its world-building and otherworldly animals so I’m not very surprised at this point.
"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
