English Dub Review: Orient “A Bushi’s Way of Life”

Overview:

As Shiro preys on the other Bushi who have gathered to hunt a Kishin, Musashi has to find a way to escape the lava pit and help his friends.

Our Take:

I’m glad we got to see what happened to Musashi and Kojiro’s father. Musashi apologized and was welcomed into Kojiro’s family with open arms. He might have chosen the “harder” life but it was ultimately happier for him as well.

Something tells me we are in for a really cool fight scene coming up. We haven’t gotten too many of those but now that Musashi has found a way to use a Kitetsu blade I think things will get more interesting. It is kind of disappointing that it’s taken nine episodes to get here but that’s how it goes sometimes. Orient has an interesting world that’s for sure but it feels like it has barely got started. Let’s hope it can finish out strong.
