English Dub Review: Sasaki and Miyano “I Realized”

Overview:

Ogasawara gets Miyano’s help with another lovers’ quarrel. Preparations for the cultural festival begin in earnest. As the Chairman helps Miyano with his look for the cross-dressing competition, Miyano seeks his wisdom about love.

Our Take:

I know we have hardly got any time with him but I think Ogasawara might be my favorite character. Not only is he voiced by Jonah Scott who I love but the character is just really cool. He had one of my favorite lines in this episode, someone mentioned him marrying his girlfriend and Miyano was surprised that they were considering marriage. Ogasawara replied “If I don’t see myself marrying her, then why date her?” and I thought that was a great line.

After messing around with the cross-dressing competition and seeing how Sasaki reacts to it, Miyano might have finally found his answer to his feelings. So it seems that the final third of this show will be pretty intense and a lot might happen. I don’t really like how Saski’s character has been acting lately but it seems to be pretty standard for BL. But hopefully, some of that stops after some of the intense feelings settle out.
