English Dub Review: Sasaki and Miyano “Bit by Bit”

Overview:

Sasaki finally decides to tell Miyano how he feels. However, Sasaki’s nerves get to him and make him say the wrong thing. Can he find a way to fix his mistake?

Our Take:

Ya know I could get used to this. A new era of anime and manga where misunderstanding and mistakes don’t take a bunch of episodes or chapters to resolve. It reminds me of Horimiya where they confess and actually explain what they really mean when they say “I like you”.

I guess one episode of Miyano’s backstory was all we needed for now. A little frustrating but I imagine we will get more plus he has a lot to think about coming up so I imagine we will delve way more into his side of things soon.

The animation of the characters is done really well but the graphics that constantly pop up are a bit distracting. I don’t mind a few here and there but this show does it like every two seconds. I just got used to seeing the weird faces and everything they make but then you throw all the sparkles and flower backdrops on there and it gets to be a little much. Luckily, the characters are good and the story seems to be heading in a heartwarming direction.
