English Dub Review: Sabikui Bisco “I Love You”
Overview
As Milo is left standing at death’s door by Kurokawa’s traps. Kurokawa has once again captured Jabi, and this time he shares a glimpse of his terrifying plan to utilize a machine called the “Tetsujin”, the very same defensive weapon that covered all of Japan in the Rust Wind. It seems like no one can stop Kurokawa, and yet at the very moment, Jabi feels that despair, a familiar face appears…
Our Take
After being hit with more than a dozen of those rust bullet,s it makes sense Bisco would be knocking on death’s door more than Milo. But I couldn’t help but wince when I (and by extension the audience) witnessed for the first time, the real horrific effects of what the rust virus does to a human body. But man, how Bisco managed to infiltrate the secret lab is ingenious, and this is a case of a Mushroom Keeper and his guardian setting things right, putting everything on the line.
In regards to Kurokawa’s experiments outside of Imihama with Rust Wind, he thinks that he’s trying to alleviate the Rusting in the first place, but in fact, is doing the exact opposite, and the possible chances that this fucker thinking he can persuade the Mushroom Keeper Elder Jabi to side with him are hilariously slim. The tenacity of the fight between Kurokawa and Bisco however, feels a tad disjointed but ended up being a psychological battle, while some of Pawoo’s fights were unique in their own way.
Overall, I loved this episode. The choice of music at the end was really good, however, the fights felt lackluster and I knew Kurokawa despicably pathetic last episode but damn its kinda funny in contrast to how in control he was in the last episode. All I have to say is that the scenes had a lot of impact despite how forced they seemed in places. I don’t understand how Milo was able to reach exactly where Bisco was and how he was able to move after those serious fucking injuries but I guess we can assume the Rust Eater Mushroom cure actually works? With 3 episodes left, how can they continue after an ending like that?
"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
