English Dub Review: Love of Kill “Limit”
Overview
Chateau is being held hostage in a car filled with explosives, and so Ryang-ha confronts Hou. This is Chateau and Ryang-ha’s most dangerous situation yet…
Our Take
Picking up from the previous episode, Ryang-ha Song and Hou settle their grievances once and for all, while Chateau tries to make the best of her escape. We even see a flashback to why Hou was angry that Song killed killed his mentor, that attempts to humanize and otherwise despicable character. But unfortunately for Hou, he just couldn’t win. I mean how the the fuck did Hou think this battle was going to play out when he brought a knife to a gunfight?
In the aftermath, it felt like two separate storylines were bridging together with Chateau meeting Jim and coming to him for help in regards to a very specific situation. Though heavily injured at least both seem to be in good spirits. From the flashbacks though it looks like that Chateau and Ryang Ha actually already encountered each other in the past. But Chateau’s next job is doing bodyguard detail on a megaliner which looks pretty interesting especially with the hinted appearance of a new danger that’s hiding in plain sight…
Overall, apart from the stupid recaps every week, it keeps improving story-wise. The little fight between Hou and Ryang Ha though was well done, yet nobody came out unscathed. But at the very least, the relationship between Ryang Ha and Chateau is leading somewhere thanks to their flashbacks further hinting how they’re both connected.
"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
