English Dub Review: Love of Kill “DARK DREAM”
Overview
Chateau boards a luxury cruise ship for a mission. There, she just so happens to run into Ryang-ha Song, who makes things difficult for her once again. They spend a night in a room together, in part so that Chateau can keep an eye on him…
Our Take
Their client this time sure is in equal parts a bigshot and a beauty as well. Though playful to the extreme Ryang Ha’s care toward Chateau is genuine. Director Euripedes at the same time also gets himself fuzzled with the client: his entrepreneur wife Hawk, which got Jim all jealous. Unsurprisingly, Ryang-ha has his eyes on his target as well, and they should mind their own business, yet Ryang-ha isn’t making it easy for Chateau and Euripedes to keep an eye on his ass while keeping his wife safe and sound.
Also, picking up from the previous episodes, it seems like the boss knows something about Chateau’s past that she doesn’t know about and he wanted to talk about that with Song but with how things ended in this episode, things are starting to heat up.
Overall, if this isn’t already under the romance genre, it should be at this point. Obviously, Song knows more about Chateau and her childhood than he’s letting on, though not necessarily the reason for her memory loss. Also, that particular cliffhanger knew how to have me hooked with that tonal shift as it went from having some fun & comedic moments, to a well-timed “oh shit” moment afterward…
"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
