English Dub Review: Don’t Toy with Me, Miss Nagatoro “That Might Actually Be Fun Senpai/ Let’s Play Rock-Paper-Scissors, Senpai!!”

Overview:

Senpai should be studying for midterms, but he’s hooked on a game. Questions arise about what might happen if he were to flunk. Senpai and Nagatoro play rock-paper-scissors to see who has to carry their bags home.

Our Take:

Since Senpai technically doesn’t have a name and had to repeat a grade would Nagatoro really call him “Former Senpai” the whole time? Seriously why does this guy not have a name? Also, if Nagatoro is going to have such a huge issue with the other girls giving him any sort of attention then maybe she should be honest with how she feels about him for once.

Kind of got instant karma though when she bullied him over the phone while in the bath and accidentally turned it into a video call. Senpai was nice and didn’t sneak a peek and told her what was happening. Which honestly is kind of a big deal because that would be really hard to ignore as a high school boy in peak puberty mode. All in all, still no progress and just dumb pranks happening that don’t move the plot forward at all. Not that there is much of a plot in shows like this but I don’t know there should be a little something by now.
