Anime News: HiDive, Funimation, And Retrocrush Announce English Dub Acquisitions

HiDive has dropped all 24-episodes of the English dubbed adaptation of Lupin the Third Part 5 as of March 1st and is also planning to drop the English dubbed adaptation of The Woman Called Fujiko Mine! on March 8th with all 13 episodes to be made available.

Retrocrush has acquired all 39 episodes of the English dub adaptation of Story of Saiunkoku. The series is produced by Madhouse and directed by Jun Shishido and is based on the series of Japanese light novels written by Sai Yukino.

Synopsis:

Shuurei Kou, the daughter of a noble yet impoverished family, is a clever young lady who dreams of becoming a government official and contributing toward her country. However, her dream is out of her reach as such a position is forbidden to women. Then, one day, an unexpected visit changes her life. Shuurei is called to assist Ryuuki Shi, the new emperor who is known for slacking on his duties and preferring the company of men. Tempted by the generous compensation, she readily accepts the chance to become the young emperor’s consort for six months.

Funimation has announced that they will be dropping all 12 episodes for the English dubbed adaptation of Gal & Dino starting March 5th. The series is based on the manga by Cota Tomimura and Moriko Mori, Gal & Dino is directed/written by Jun Aoki at studio Kamikaze Douga and Space Neko Company, with music by Gin.
