NFT: The Gotham Group To Release “Alien To Me” Adult Animated Series
The Gotham Group’s Emerging Technologies department is readying the release of it’s first adult animated series that will only be made available for viewers who purchase their NFT’s. It’s called Alien To Me and it comes from Connor Kerrigan, Andrew Goldsmith and Monique Mulcahy.
Alien to Me centers on an average alien named Krill on an journey across the upside down and completely twisted modern universe. Deadline was the first to report the story, but you can watch a trailer below.
Our Take
Emerging Technologies means a lot of things. Yes, it means animated series NFT’s, but it also means big time gaming companies like Epic Games and their Unreal engine giving us eye-openers like the upcoming Metropius and with the recent investment in Spire Animations to the tune of $20 million, they are showing no signs of slowing down. It’s a very exciting time and it’s getting to the point where AI can be used to replace voice actors and bots can be used to create still images (the precursor to animating them). The Gotham Group is coming in at the right time, but do people need representation in the NFT-verse?
"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
