English Dub Review: How a Realist Hero Rebuilt the Kingdom “Becoming Good Friends Who Never Offend”
Overview:
Jeanne’s negotiations continue. These negotiations are no longer in the hands of Julius, but wholly a matter for the Gran Chaos Empire and the Kingdom of Elfrieden. Further, Jeanne sees a new future and a new world in Souma.
Our Take:
To like this show I really hope you like dialogue-heavy shows. Plus I think you need to really enjoy the world this is set in. If you do then you probably love this show and episodes like this. It was essentially just Souma and Jeanne talking to each other but because of the subject matter and politics involved it was pretty interesting to me.
I do understand that isn’t everyone’s cup of tea and might be boring for them. This show is definitely not for people who are really into action but I think it’s at least worth a try. Most of the discussion was pretty serious but near the end, it got a bit sillier, and honestly some of it was annoying. How many people are going to want to marry Souma? I mean this person doesn’t necessarily WANT to but I imagine they wouldn’t mind. It’s just a bit of an annoyance even if you are familiar with the harem genre.
"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
