English Dub Review: Heaven Official’s Blessing “Right and Wrong, Buried in the Sand”

I was under the impression this was the last episode according to MAL but Funimation seems to have a special 12th episode. So the fun will continue for one more episode at least. I imagine it will be something of a recap but we will see when it gets its dub.

As for this episode, there was a lot happening and a lot of revelations. One thing I have had trouble with is keeping all the characters straight and who they were. Maybe it’s because this is my first donghua, I am pretty sure it was tough when I first started watching anime. But all the characters left an impression I just recognize them more by look than name.

Some things were finally taken care and some characters were finally introduced albeit in a lackluster fashion. We finally got to meet the two women we saw like four episodes ago but their part in the story was minimal at best. Which was very disappointing to me. Luckily Ban Yue is not going to be blamed anymore and if I understand correctly she is now traveling with Xie Lian but maybe we will find out for sure in the actual final episode.
