Review: “Loud House Super Sports Special”

Overview

Lincoln Loud and Clyde McBride highlight Lynn Loud’s sportiest and most athletic moments; Lincoln and Clyde reflect on everything that has made Lynn the G.O.A.T., from her unique superstitions to her constant competitive nature.

Our Take

To commemorate the “NFL Wild Card” game, Nickelodeon has been heavily promoting. The network has released an animated half-hour-long “Clip Show” of sorts in regards to a specific Loud House character doing sports-related things. Most notably, The Tomboyish Lynn Loud who seems to be the Token “Sports Chick” of the family.

The only thing new is Lincoln and Clyde providing commentary with some clips here and there of other Loud House characters who were also in various sports-related situations from past episodes such as Lori playing a game of golf.

Overall, not a bad special, but I feel like if they wanted to commemorate this further, they could’ve at least made something original. Clip shows are not always the most imaginative way to go, but it manages to be mildly entertaining if only for the physical comedy. It also had a few clips of Ronnie-Ann from Casagrande’s doing Luchadore stuff too. But it is what it is…
