English Dub Review: Yashahime: Princess Half-Demon “Battle on the Moon, Part 2”

Overview:

Moroha and Takechiyo strike back against Shogen Mamiana. Setsuna experiences her first New Moon. Towa is trapped by Nanahoshi’s eternity bugs.

Our Take:

This episode had some fantastic parts. Like Moroha essentially doing a Kamehameha to win her fight. It’s okay we won’t judge, it’s a cool move. There wasn’t much going on with Towa this episode but I think she will get her big moment next episode. No this episode’s shining moment came from the demon slayers that were protecting the sleeping Setsuna.

It felt like I was watching Home Alone and I was here for it. Hisui as you know is one of my favorites. So getting to see him nonchalantly make a demon’s life awful was hilarious. He and his fellow demon slayers just followed Setsuna’s instructions and they defeated the demons with no problem.

Moroha managed to solve her problem with the Raccoon Dog demons. It was a little anti-climactic, well other than the Kamehameha thing. But it was still a lot of fun, and I still think Moroha is my favorite with Setsuna definitely second but making a case for first. I really am enjoying this show just for the fun that it brings.
