Picking up from the previous episode, Clevatess continues pushing its story toward the season’s climax as Alicia becomes separated from Klen and finds herself caught up in another mysterious situation. Meanwhile, Klen, Zavthier, and the others work to track her down while Vordin’s plans surrounding the legendary hero begin to take shape. The episode introduces some intriguing new mysteries involving the Chamber of Secrets, the Mirror Labyrinth, and the Allozar family, keeping things suitably strange without giving away too much.

Alicia remains one of the episode’s biggest highlights, especially as she once again proves how much punishment she can endure while still charging headfirst into danger, which provides some welcome humor despite the show’s darker material. The mirror-based setting also gives the episode a strong horror atmosphere, and the animation during Alicia’s action scenes continues to impress. There’s still plenty of confusion surrounding Milea, the Dean, and Vordin, but that uncertainty does make it difficult to predict where the story is heading.

Overall, this was another entertaining episode that feels like it is steadily building toward something much bigger. Alicia’s continued struggles, Vordin’s mysterious intentions, and the growing importance of the legendary hero all leave plenty to speculate about without revealing where things are headed. There are still several loose ends to address, including Luna’s absence, but with the climax approaching, I’m definitely curious to see how Clevatess manages to bring everything together.
