English Dub Review: The Faraway Paladin “Whitesails”

Overview:

Bii and Tonio have joined Will on his journey, and the party finally arrives in Whitesails. Will has never seen such a big, lively city, and he is deeply impressed. He hopes to relieve the exhaustion of his journey, but suddenly, an alarm sounds. He hurries outside and sees a massive shadow flying directly over his head. 

Our Take:

They finally made it to Whitesails. A huge bustling city is a first for the series so far and getting to see Will experience it was part of the fun. What isn’t part of the fun is all the trouble Will seems to get in wherever he goes. I also can’t tell if the Bishop is a nice guy or not but I have a feeling that we will find out in the coming episodes. It was mentioned that he enjoys pleasures as if that makes him terrible but I think it might be one of those things to make us think he’s bad.

Will took on a wyvern with Menel’s help and it was awesome. Though I have to say one thing… if I have to hear Will say “Acceleratio” one more time I am going to lose it. So I am probably going to lose it because he seems to say it about three times an episode. I mean it’s a useful spell but man is it annoying. Other than that though it was a great episode especially with seeing what this prince might be plotting.
