English Dub Review: The Faraway Paladin “Songs of Heroism”

Overview:

Having saved the village from the Demon’s attack, Will and Menel decide to head toward the city of Whitesails, a booming trade center. As they pass through Beast Woods, they suddenly hear a scream. Running in its direction, Will and Menel see two travelers being attacked by a Giant Ape.

Our Take:

Looks like we might have two new party members. The traveling merchant, Antonio, and his companion Robina Goodfellow. Robina is a halfling girl who is a troubadour by trade. After being rescued by Will they all travel together. They get a nice little setup going where Robina brings in the people with her singing, Will heals any people that need it and Antonio peddles his wares. Not a bad money-making idea.

Antonio sounds like he is voiced by Lucien Dodge and I am pretty sure that Robina is voiced by Cristina Vee. There has been no confirmation but that is who it sounds like to me. Robina is so cute that Cristina would be the perfect voice for that type of character.

The Faraway Paladin is introducing more fun characters and I can’t wait to see the city of Whitesails. I think this show is on the right track and I can’t wait for the novel to come here too. I am enjoying it that much!
