Our Take

I feel like I have whiplash after this episode. It jumproped the line of good and bad so many times that I’m still not sure I liked it. I’ve read the first volume of the light novel so I didn’t think I could be surprised but they managed to prove me wrong. So there might be a couple of spoilers but it’s just me trying to make sense of what is going on.

So Siesta’s heart was taken by Hel in the last flashback episode, right? I was wondering how Natsunagi ever got her hands on the heart then. Well, Siesta wanted to give Alicia a chance at being normal so as I understand it Natsunagi is Alicia grown up. I might be wrong though because that doesn’t explain the name change. So essentially it sounds like there are three different people in the same body.

It was a cool little twist that they even changed the animation in the ED for. It had me thinking this episode was good for half a second but don’t worry I’ve come to my senses. This show is still all over the place and doesn’t really seem to know what time period it wants to be in. All the flashbacks and cheesy one-liners in this episode were so annoying and confusing. I hate to say it but thank goodness the next episode is the last.
