English Dub Review: Life Lessons with Uramichi Oniisan “Fateful Encounter”

Overview:

The cast members of Together with Maman teach children traffic safety rules and how important it is to check both ways before crossing the street.

Our Take:

Uramichi continues to be the perfect sounding board for adults everywhere. He even deals with the neck pain that we all have had to deal with at some point. Wouldn’t you know that all the footage he shot for a traffic safety segment was lost? To make matters worse, that segment required him to move his head from left to right a whole lot. So not the best thing to have to reshoot with a sore neck. Have I mentioned how relatable this show is?

Do you know who absolutely makes this show? Kikaku that’s who. That’s not to say that Life Lessons with Uramichi Oniisan was bad before his introduction just that he is THAT good. To be honest for a minor role it is one of my favorite Johnny Yong Bosch roles. He absolutely lets loose and has fun with it and you can tell, the character is a lot of fun to watch. You also can’t help but feel bad for the guy I mean his ex brought her kid to the show and everything.

I am pretty sure there is only one episode left which is actually kind of sad. It’s pretty late for there to be an overarching plot so I think this was just a bit of a fun show to watch. We might get the final episode next week if we do stay tuned for the final episode review and the season review!
