TMS Entertainment to Host the Long-Awaited Case Closed: The Scarlet Bullet, and LUPIN THE 3rd: Prison of the Past, English Dub World Premieres at Anime NYC

TMS Entertainment USA, Inc. today announced they will host screenings of both LUPIN THE 3rd: Prison of the Past and Case Closed: The Scarlet Bullet at this year’s Anime NYC Convention. Fans will be able to catch the English dub world premiere of the world’s greatest thief’s newest television special, Prison of the Past, on November 21st, and the English dub world premiere of Detective Conan’s latest cinematic adventure, The Scarlet Bullet, on November 22nd at the Javits Center in New York.

Prison of the Past is the 27th television special from the long-standing LUPIN THE 3rd anime franchise. The Scarlet Bullet is the delayed, highly anticipated, 24th movie from the beloved Case Closed franchise.

Making special appearances for the LUPIN THE 3rd screening will be English voice cast members, Tony Oliver, the voice of Lupin III, Richard Epcar, voice of Daisuke Jigen, Lex Lang, the voice of Goemon Ishikawa, Michelle Ruff, the voice of Fujiko Mine, and Doug Erholtz, the voice of Inspector Zenigata. The cast will host a trivia and giveaway contest at the screening. All attendees will also receive an Anime NYC exclusive LUPIN THE 3rd face mask specially designed for the premiere.

The Case Closed screening will be followed by a trivia and giveaway contest as well. Fans will be able to test their knowledge of the series for exclusive Case Closed prizes to celebrate the premiere of the highly anticipated theatrical addition to the beloved series.

The LUPIN THE 3rd Prison of the Past screening will take place November 21st from 3:30 PM at Anime NYC in Panel 4 of the Javits Center.
The Case Closed: The Scarlet Bullet screening will take place November 22nd from 11:30 AM at Anime NYC in Panel 4 of the Javits Center.

Fans unable to make it to Anime NYC, will soon be able to enjoy both LUPIN THE 3rd: Prison of the Past and Case Closed: The Scarlet Bullet from the comfort of their own homes, as both titles will become available digitally for purchase or rent.
