TBS Announces Premiere Date For Halloween Episode Of “American Dad” Plus Broadcast Premiere Of “Close Enough”

TBS has announced an October 25th @ 930 pm ET/PT premiere date for an upcoming American Dad Halloween special entitled “Steve’s Franken Out” which will be the final episode of the show’s 18th season. American Dad has already been renewed for a 19th season that is slated to premiere sometime in 2022. American Dad just posted a number of episodes from this past season on streaming service Hulu.

The episode will then be followed by the network television premiere of HBO MAX original series Close Enough. The latter was originally a TBS order nearly five years ago before years of development hell put the series on the back burner before it ultimately premiered on HBO MAX. The series has since been renewed for a second and third seasons with the former having already been made available to stream on the aforementioned streamer and the latter currently in production.

Synopsis:

American Dad

Stan Smith leads the all-American family in this animated sitcom. Everyday life is taken to the limit as Stan applies the same drastic measures used in his job at the CIA to his home life. Driven by machismo and the American dream, he often is blind to how horribly he fails at his attempts.

Close Enough
This adult animated comedy series dives into the life of a millennial family and their divorced BFFs, who all live together under one chaotic roof in Los Angeles.
